Against Chinese, it makes even more sense to go Master Smiths because they get Zhuge Nu without going to Song Dynasty. When you're up against Zhuge Nu, having Master Smiths is very very strong.
Desert Raiders don't spawn straight away anymore, so that's a very big delay against China.
Reinforcement wing in the feudal age gives one strong camel at a time. That could be annoying for China because they're not able to walk around the map and make units to deal with that early.
Zhuge Nu are very effective against Desert Raiders.
Desert Raiders decimate Palace Guard.
Growth wing, it's just so many villagers that you're getting out of it immediately. It means that your economy will very quickly surpass that of the Chinese even with the Imperial officials.
As Ayyubid, you probably shouldn't do too much in Feudal Age because you're not going to be able to stop the fast Castle Age from the Chinese.
A single Desert Raider is excellent at denying pro scouts because it deals bonus damage against scouts and horseman, and if your opponent switches to spearman, you can switch to range mode to continue dealing damage.
Dervish healing can completely out-heal the damage from Nest of Bees area attacks, making the Nest of Bees much less effective unless the Dervishes are eliminated.
