English are a defensive archery civilization centered on long-range Longbowmen, powered by a superior farm economy, and strengthened by castle networks that grant nearby units attack speed bonuses, progressing from early feudal into late-game dominance.
Matchup advice6 TIPS

Two Dervishes completely outheal the King's damage, so Dervishes are a strong counter to the English King.

I really like military wing here. You get the Desert Raider which contests the King when he comes across. It's pretty annoying: playing English 2TC, you send your King out and the Ayyubid can just contest you with a single Desert Raider.

The Desert Raider with five melee armor absolutely shreds men-at-arms in this matchup.

If you're playing against an English aggressive player in Feudal, remember their units aren't exactly mobile. So you have the potential to take down some of those reinforcements and you don't get that death ball at the back.

In general, you don't want to make Camel Lancers mainly because your opponent already has Spearmen out. Camel Lancers are the one unit that your opponent can counter.
