In this matchup typically there's just not a whole lot of aggression for the first 6 minutes going on, so you definitely have enough time as the Malians to go for that second pit mine.
The Malians don't get incendiary arrows; they get a normal upgrade on their archers that gives +2 damage. So you don't see it come in, but their archers do as much damage as archers with incendiary arrows – that's why Cataphracts fall incredibly quickly.
