How to beatAyyubidas Chinese

Mass lancer play is definitely still the optimal call when you're up against Ayyubid.

Even though camel lancers are debuffing your cavalry, you can still just spam lancers into it pretty much non-stop.

Archers are not a unit you want to go for in this matchup against Ayyubid, especially when they hit Castle Age and start fielding Camel Lancers – they will just destroy archers.

Against Ayyubid, going for the Astronomical Clocktower is a great choice because you'll need siege, and the high HP Nest of Bees and Springalds it provides are very valuable.

Nest of Bees should always beat the Manjaniq.

Going mass horsemen can be effective against Camel Lancers: you can force the Camel Lancers to chase your horsemen, or if they ignore them, you can dive onto the backline siege and archers.

Adding Palace Guards is a good idea against Ayyubid because they lack a great counter for them, especially when supported by spears against Camel Lancers.

A single Desert Raider is excellent at denying pro scouts because it deals bonus damage against scouts and horseman, and if your opponent switches to spearman, you can switch to range mode to continue dealing damage.

Dervish healing can completely out-heal the damage from Nest of Bees area attacks, making the Nest of Bees much less effective unless the Dervishes are eliminated.
