Playing pro scouts against JD is interesting because you're liable to being exposed to her attacks early and giving her XP if you drop a scout.
There's a reason why we saw that barracks go up first from MarineLord, not stable. He knows he can't make scouts first. They have to get spears out first. Even just going against French or JD, it fundamentally changes the build order because you have to respect the hero unit who can do a lot of damage and give a lot of XP.
Triple comp against triple comp units will die, and that's what you want for JD. And if you're not castle age as China when JD hits level three, you have a really really big problem.
Archers are not as good at taking JD down as Zhuge Nu would be.
If you mass Spears your opponent masses Archers and knights, the healing factor of Chivalry lets them overtime win.
If the Chinese gets to Castle Age he gets to crossbows, if he gets to veterancy on these spearmen and Zhuge Nu there isn't really very many things that Jeanne d'Arc can do against that composition.
There is a chance that a jean player goes trade on this map, but now you could scout that with Imperial Palace, just press the button and go 'okay no trade I'm chill'.
