Chinese climb from early fragility through dynasty progression into formidable late-game armies of gunpowder and siege units, sustained by a tax economy and rapid construction that allow them to peak in Ming Dynasty with durable, versatile unit compositions.
Matchup advice7 TIPS

The Ghazi raider is a unit that sees a men at arms or a palace guard and just smiles because they know that they've won the game at that point in time. The Palace Guard used to be a very solid unit against Delhi because they were faster, could surround elephants, but Ghazi raiders just destroy them even when they're in feudal age against castle age.

China doesn't really need to mine gold as much due to tax income from Imperial Officials, making gold raids less effective.

The gunpowder upgrade for Chinese bombards gives additional attack speed, reducing reload time to 4.19 seconds, compared to ~5.38 seconds for Delhi's bombards.

With the Yuan dynasty movement speed bonus, Chinese spearmen can keep up with mounted units like Ghazi Raiders.

China has this habit of catching you off guard. Once their archer count goes up to 9 or 10, China will have the archery upgrade in 24 seconds, whereas Delhi will take over a minute even with scholar scaling.
