The Mongols are a cavalry-focused nomadic civilization whose relocatable Ger economy and stone-mining Ovoo production replace traditional farms and walls, forcing an aggressive playstyle built on mobile cavalry raids and early map dominance.
Matchup advice7 TIPS

To deal with this Keshik mass, you need a few crossbows from the council hall.

The move speed from the deer stones just kind of placed obnoxiously in the middle of the map... those archers were just so much faster than the long bows.

Keshik trade extremely well against horsemen: they deal 9 damage, 3 is blocked, and they heal 3 per attack.

The issue is that the Keshiks are healing the damage from the Town Center, so he needs to focus fire onto the crossbows specifically. He can't kill the Keshiks reliably.

Keshiks don't trade well against knights; they have less HP (175) than knights even in feudal age. Without the Kurultai healing and damage bonus, they struggle.
