If Zhu Xi's Legacy goes for a supervised spearman rush, House of Lancaster can pull villagers to defend; only English and Lancaster can do that successfully, and 10 villagers will do a lot of damage to spearmen.

When you take a trade, if you micro back weakened spearmen, you can heal them up very easily with the Abbey of Kings, retaining value.

Palace Guards have only two ranged armor, so they are not great against ranged units like Yeoman, though their three melee armor makes them good against spearmen.

Now the Yeoman, they got to focus down the Zhuge Nu. They don't do that much damage up against the Palace Guards.

The Lords of Lancaster, not only are they really tanky, but they also have a lot of base damage. So even the three armor on the Palace Guards doesn't mean that much.
