Raider Elephants are horsemen supreme and do a lot of bonus damage to Jeanne d'Arc, so she should run away from them.

Elephants can trample, ignoring collision and running over archers, so you have to be very much on point with your micro when using archers against them.

French knights match up so well against the raider elephants. The raiders, they kind of want to charge in and fight you, right? But the knights love that. The French light knights love charge again and hitting with the bonus damage and it just works out so well for them.

Against Tughlaq, taking ranged Jeanne d'Arc to snipe bulky units like healer and raider elephants is very useful, giving immense experience. Raider elephants are 20 food cheaper but still give a lot of experience.

Tughlaq's upgrade time is only 5 seconds, so elite infantry tactics will finish way before Jeanne d'Arc's incendiary arrows.
