How to beatGolden Hordeas Macedonian

Realistically in feudal age engagements there's no reason to be making archers up against the Golden Horde because they're going to be making their own archers and cavalry. So your archers, they're going to be doing neutral against your opponent's archers, but they're going to be doing negative against the Torguud.

In feudal they're both strong, but Golden Horde just wins out in a long feudal. Just a better army. Torguud, the buffs from the Khan, it's just better. Even with the silver upgrades from Macedonia, Golden Horde is going to be fine.

You would love to get to castle immediately, but chances are you won't get there in a good state by the time Golden Horde is done with you. Even the Golden Horde is slow on the startup, once they get going, there's little you can do to stop that military if you haven't addressed it early.

Macedonians might just go for a straight up fast castle. You have what you need for it with the deer, and then you start getting the Riddari, and that's where Golden Horde struggles. They really struggle going fast castle.

The Varangian Guard actually trade super well up against Torguud because they go up to six melee armor and Torguud go up to like 11 damage. So you barely take any damage from Torguud, but you do a good amount of damage yourself.
