You cannot really go archers in this matchup as Malian because Golden Horde has plus two armor in castle on armored units. So you kind of have to go Donso Sofa. Malian's strength is obviously going for mass sofa plus archer, but that becomes pretty uncomfortable very quickly if Golden Horde reaches castle.

Musafadi are there to pick off the Torguud if possible and then have sofas go for the archers.

A Farimba Garrison play with poison damage from Musofadi Gunners is really good against Golden Horde's Torguud because they are tanky and won't die quickly, allowing the poison to add up.

Malians want to secure a second pit mine early, but it can be hard against Golden Horde because the Khan and Torguuds come out with a delayed age-up. If the Malian times it right and has a villager on the gold vein by the time the age comes in, they can get the pit mine and houses up before the Khan comes out.

Without Donso out on the field, there's just no way to get rid of the Keshiks.
