Keshiks make a lot of sense because with Keshiks you don't mind those arrows from the towers as much.

Against a Yeoman mass, horsemen with additional ranged armor might be a better choice than Keshiks, especially with Improved Biology.

Once King's College is online, Call of the Nobles gives Demilancers and Knights +6 additional damage against heavy units, forcing Keshiks to be very careful about their engagements.
