How to beatMacedonianas Mongols

When you're up against the Macedonians, ideally you want to shut down gold early. Without silver, Macedonians lack one of their main economic boons. They use silver for blacksmith upgrades, so gold is typically spent on other upgrades. Hitting the gold early is one of the best ways to deal with Macedonians, and Mongols are pretty good with that with the spearman rush and tower rush.

The Mongol spearmen are going to be super useful once the Macedonian hits Castle Age because the Imperial Hippodrome gets cavalry units out.

The Hippodrome's Triumph ability gives additional movement speed to spearmen, allowing them to catch up to Keshiks if they get out of position.

Macedonian archers can do well against Keshiks if they activate their ability, ignoring two armor, giving a nice bonus to damage.

If Mongols go for trade with markets, it's going to be really hard to defend against the Macedonian Hippodrome horsemen with their buff.
