Ayyubidas Ottomans

Akinji doesn't make sense against Ayyubid because of Desert Raiders. Akinji lose base damage and attack speed at similar range, so Desert Raiders do phenomenally against them.
Sipahi do really well against Desert Raiders. They have a giant bonus damage against range units, and the Mehter gives a nice attack speed bonus.
With the House of Wisdom nearby, all buildings have +5 fire armor. It's very difficult to torch down outposts with infantry.
Camel Lancers debuff Sipahi's torch damage as well, so they do less damage to buildings.
When you get five or six Manjaniq toggled to incendiary shots, they do massive damage to any unit. But Ottomans can deal with it using their best horsemen, which tank the shots and take down siege with relative ease.
Sipahi are just as effective as Camel Lancers DPS-wise.
Crossbows, especially with the Mehter buff, are quite competitive even up against archers. Same range, but with the attack speed and more damage, they actually trade quite nicely.
Imams can't heal themselves and move really slow, while the dervish is much faster and can heal itself.
If you have four or five Manjaniq, everything the Ottoman has falls apart. With many Janissaries, you cannot make any more cavalry units. Your best bet is a ranged mass with the Manjaniq and then a bunch of spears of your own. Spears would be your play with Manjaniq.
It's weird because you don't necessarily want to open cavalry against Ayyubids. Usually you want to open knights in castle, you can't really do it here, and you also shouldn't have to worry about Camel Lancers because of the Janissaries.
We're used to ayyubids using dervishes to get relics quickly, but Ottomans can do it even faster with their Imam.
In a long feudal, Sipahi feel pretty damn good against Desert Raiders because they just wipe them so fast and with the extra range they can even chase and very quickly kill a Dervish.
Dervishes can heal while moving, but Imams cannot. This allows Dervishes to kite and kill Imams if they are brought out.
