The Ryokan landmark now increases the healing by four health every 5 seconds when out of combat. That used to be three out of every 6 seconds. So, a significant buff there alongside it also giving you that 60 bonus max population spot. And having that healing out of combat gives Sengoku a very very good way to combat the healing that Delhi has with the scholars.
Typically against Delhi, even if opponents go for spearmen with just a single barracks, Delhi tends to outmass them with Ghazi Raiders for a significant time. With double spear production, you can get enough spearmen onto the field to not let Ghazi Raiders take those engagements.
And switching to Kanabo Samurai, the samurai that do percent damage. Even if Delhi goes for an age up and gets War Elephants, those samurai absolutely obliterate units with high base health, so elephants won't help.
It's very hard to match those Ghazi Raiders with just horsemen of your own because you're going to be outmatched over time. The Ghazi Raiders, not only are they a little bit stronger, but they have those scholars healing for them. So these high-level players are so good at taking a little bit of damage, making sure those Ghazi Raiders stay alive at low health, then going home and suddenly it's a brand new unit.
Whenever you take a fight against Delhi, you have to be sure to actually kill the unit and finish it off because if you don't, it's just going to get healed up back to full and that can really lead to snowbally moments.
